Meet Michael Turpie.

I'm Michael Turpie, and I am on a mission to help every family create a legacy of love. 

At the heart of everything I do, I am driven by a desire to change peoples' lives for the better. After earning my Bachelor's and subsequently a Master's degree in Criminal Justice, I served with AmeriCorps Justice for Montanans, where I provided legal resources and information to self-represented (pro se) litigants filing for various family law matters. There, I saw firsthand the impact that family law matters could have on individuals -- and the impact I could have in helping guide them through it. After that, I pivoted into trusts and estates, and for the last four years, I’ve enjoyed connecting with clients from all walks of life, united by a single goal: to provide for and protect their loved ones long after they're gone. 

As a Paralegal at Z Family Law, I love working alongside a team dedicated to going above and beyond to achieve the best results possible for every single client, whether helping them write a new beginning through family law or protecting their loved ones through estate planning.  

Outside of work, you can find me playing basketball, pickleball, or otherwise enjoying the great outdoors with my friends and family. As an avid sports fan, when I'm not on the court myself, I root for the Washington Commanders, the Wizards, the Capitals, and the Baltimore Orioles.
