Meet Maureen Beery.

My legal career began as a Law Clerk at the Baltimore City State’s Attorney’s Office, where I gained firsthand experience in litigation and advocacy. In 2013, I started practicing law at a small general practice firm in Towson, handling cases in family law, criminal defense, personal injury, and contractual matters. However, I quickly realized that family law was where I could make the greatest impact, and since 2014, I have dedicated my career exclusively to helping families navigate legal challenges with compassion and clarity.

Family law touches the most personal and meaningful aspects of a person’s life, and I have always been drawn to this area of practice because of the profound impact it has on families. I believe that clients need more than just a strong legal advocate—they need someone who will listen, support, and guide them through one of the most challenging times in their lives. At Z Family Law, I have found a firm that aligns with my philosophy: offering clients not just legal representation, but a path forward toward a new beginning.

When I’m not advocating for my clients, I love spending time with my two sons and sharing my passion for cooking with family and friends.
