Meet Arely Cruz.

Before joining Z Family Law, I spent nearly a decade working in law firms across Colorado and Virginia, focusing on landlord-tenant law, real estate and property management, and fair housing law. Through that experience, I saw how deeply a family’s living situation impacts their well-being. Now, as a paralegal at Z Family Law, I’m grateful for the opportunity to support families in an even more personal and meaningful way as they navigate life’s major transitions.

I was drawn to Z Family Law because of the values, environment, and genuine care that the firm extends to both its team and its clients. I love being part of a workplace that encourages growth and development in all aspects of life, and I take pride in knowing that my work helps families find clarity and security during uncertain times.

My passion for family law comes from my own experiences. When I was a teenager, my parents went through a divorce, and I remember how difficult that time was for my family. That experience shaped my desire to help others in similar situations, providing not just legal support but also the compassion and understanding that families need to move forward.

When I’m not working, you can find me hiking with my two dogs, Nala and Athena, curled up with a good book, or binge-watching my favorite shows. I’m also a true crime fanatic and love diving into documentaries and podcasts that explore complex legal cases.
